The legal trouble theory is mentioned because Anthony had a record… that was DUI related. I think it was just a fallout between partners that forced their hand. Every other sales call started with “I love your channel.” (You know you’re doing well when Archie hates you.) I looked at their inventory every week. It worked he had some great screen appeal. Every dealer copied the “day in a life” genre after he created it (and no one as well). I appreciated that they understood the power of marketing on social media and invested money for good content. So the financial trouble theory doesn’t hold up. They were ready to hire another videographer. They had a lot of inventory before they closed and could have liquidated the collection - and then run with the money. He seemed to be turning a profit every week and I don’t think his lifestyle was that outrageous (the private jet ride for example was offered). ![]()
